His Embrace in The Dark

If you are truly a Believer in Christ and walk with Him on a daily basis, and He is Lord over all you are, then you will experience rejection, being misunderstood, mistreated and despised as He was. When this happens, because it will, UNDERSTAND AND BE COMFORTED IN WHY. And since we are his children, we will share his treasures—for all God gives to his Son Jesus is now ours too. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Romans 8:17 TLB

Let Jesus fight your battles when you are misunderstood, scoffed at, wrongfully accused, despised and rejected. When the finger-pointers, the whisperers, and brethren dividers rise up, move out of the way AND PRAY. GOD IS THEIR JUDGE. He is faithful. There is no need to argue, convince, or cajole (to persuade someone by flattery or pleasing talk to do what one wants; wheedle; coax). Yes, we can and need to take immediate action to reconcile as best we can, but, God knows the truth and will bring it to light. This resolve is not ours, but His alone.

He was despised and rejected by others, and a man of sorrows, intimately familiar with suffering; and like one from whom people hide their faces; and we despised him and did not value him. Isaiah 53:3 ISV

For if my father and mother should abandon me, you would welcome and comfort me. Tell me what to do, O Lord, and make it plain because I am surrounded by waiting enemies. Don’t let them get me, Lord! Don’t let me fall into their hands! For they accuse me of things I never did, and all the while are plotting cruelty. I am expecting the Lord to rescue me again, so that once again I will see his goodness to me here in the land of the living. Don’t be impatient. Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you! Be brave, stouthearted, and courageous. Yes, wait and he will help you. Psalm 27:10-14 TLB

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Matthew 5:11 NIV

Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean. Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness. Matthew 23:23-27 NIV

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear. Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. 1 Peter 4:12-19 KJV

Jesus understands and has experienced the same injustices. He is our Advocate, and sees everything said and done in secret, this is our confidence. So be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 KJV. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Psalm 91:4 KJV
