What are we looking at? This is truly the question we need to be asking ourselves, moment by moment, day by day. What are we listening to? What thoughts are we saying yes to?
When our thoughts are raging, telling us there is no hope, telling us we will die, or better yet lose something precious that God himself endowed us with in the first place, we need to expectantly look for the cross. IN THE TANGLED MESS!
Though The Cross may be hard to see in the moment of raging emotions, circumstances, and feelings, don’t let your own triggers blur your vision of the truth. The Cross.
As the large, cold chunks of hardened snow come flying off the branches that blur The Cross as they melt, so shall your sure victory come as you look fiercely, intently, EXPECTANTLY for The Cross in your mess.
Do not forget, because of Christ’s death on the cross AND his resurrection, he gave us, his children, the same power that raised him from the dead!
"These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.” Mark 16:17
Let this sink in dear ones. IF, you expectantly look for the power of his death on the cross, The Power of The Cross, then, you will Crossly oppose your mess, expecting the Truth of who you are in Christ, and walk in the victory that is already yours!
Read the IF CHAPTER of Proverbs 2 now to see how important it is for us to take action in our faith, trusting intently in the living Word of God.
“IF you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.” Proverbs 24:10
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Proverbs 18:21
It is your choice to crossly oppose yourself, your enemy, or your God, and to bear the outcomes of your choices. Why not walk in all that Christ gave you through the high price of The Cross starting Today?
On a journey of Healing and Hope with you,
Terri Lynne
