Days of Him

Remember the early days of walking with your Lord, when He woke you in the wee hours of the morning? When you went on retreats with your church women's group and someone got miraculously healed, maybe it was you. Remember when Jesus healed you for the first time and how you walked on clouds for months afterward? Remember the time when satan backed you into a corner and you had to fight that spiritual battle whether you liked it or not, and when you were so exhausted that you thought for certain you could not go on another day and then suddenly you realized that the battle was over and you were 'set free' from whatever 'it' was that ailed you? Those are the Days of Him.

Remember the nights of revivals where many around you were 'set free' of tormenting pasts, addictions, sickness, and disease? Remember when you gave of your time and money to a ministry, a person, a work of the Lord that you felt led to by faith, by the Holy Spirit, maybe when the funds logically could have been used somewhere else more 'responsibly', only to see so much fruit that it kept you propelled to 'fight the good fight' no matter what? Those are the Days of Him.

Remember the days when you felt so tired from working all day, running to do errands, picking up a friend, and whisking you both off to another church function only to nearly fall asleep in the process? Going out for breakfast at midnight after a long day of concerts, street evangelism, helping someone in need repair or remodel their home, only to experience the most amazing fellowship and friendships imaginable? Those are the Days of Him.

Jesus said, "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26.

Let the Comforter comfort you today by allowing him to bring to your remembrance what God has done in the past. Sit down in your favorite place to listen to Him and ask Him to bring these things to your remembrance, then think on them and fan the flames of revival in your heart again! Remember, He loves you and will use you as long as you are willing.

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:18-20

On a journey of Healing and Hope with you,

Terri Lynne
